Grandma's Cranberry Apple Crumble
My grandma’s Cranberry Apple Crumble is a family favorite and a staple at our Thanksgiving and Christmas table. It’s sweet, tart, warm, and comforting, and we love serving it as either a dessert or a side dish alongside ham, turkey, and all the holiday classics. It’s also absolutely delicious served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds fresh cranberries
2 large unpeeled apples, cut into ½-inch thick slices
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 sticks salted butter, melted
1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
1 cup finely chopped pecans
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup instant oatmeal
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly butter a 3-quart casserole dish.
Line the bottom of the casserole dish with the cranberries and sliced apples.
Sprinkle the granulated sugar and salt over the fruit.
To make the topping, mix together the butter, brown sugar, pecans, flour, and oatmeal until well combined.
Crumble the topping evenly over the sugared fruit, and bake until the fruit is soft and the topping is golden brown, about 1 hour. (If the topping is starting to brown too quickly or too much, cover with aluminum foil.)*
Allow to set for 10-15 minutes before serving.
10-12 servings
