Sloppy Joes

The sloppy Joe is an American classic. Meat and cheese on a bun, what's not to love? This recipe is a twist on the classic for people looking to have that same flavor you grew up loving, with a secret vegetable addition.

Ingredients
•1 TB Olive oil
•1 lb ground beef
•1 large yellow onion, chopped
•1-2 jalapeños, chopped(optional)
•2 cups finely chopped spinach (optional)
•3 cloves garlic, minced
•1 pack mccormick sloppy Joe seasoning
•5 TB tomato paste
•1 TB Worcestershire sauce
•1 tsp yellow mustard
•1/2 cup chicken broth
•Salt and pepper
•Sharp Cheddar Cheese Slices
•Buns
Instructions
1. In a large nonstick pot or pan on medium high heat, sauté onions and jalapeños in oil until soft(about 5 minutes).
2. Add the garlic and continue cooking until aromatic.
3. In a bowl combine tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and sloppy Joe seasoning.
4. Add beef to the pan with onion mixture.
5. Add paste, spinach, and chicken broth.
6. Reduce to medium-low heat and Simmer for 20 minutes(stirring occasionally), or until nice and thick. Do not cover pan/pot.
7. Serve on top of a toasted bun with cheese!
